SUMMARY:In-Studio Summer Solstice
DESCRIPTION:The Summer Solstice celebrates light. It marks the longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere where the sun is highest in the sky and the earth’s axis is at its maximum tilt toward the sun. Some see it as a time for new beginnings\, reflection and change. At this Friday night workshop\, we’ll celebrate the summer solstice together with a yoga practice that honours the light\, new beginnings and changes that take place within us\, on a personal level\, as well as the global shift towards midsummer. \nThe evening will begin with a flowing hatha practice that gently warm the body\, gradually opening it to deeper expansive shapes. There’ll also be time for insight and reflection with some relaxing and restorative yin yoga. Enjoy a Friday night like no other and let’s celebrate the occasion together. \n
