DESCRIPTION:The 16-month Yogacampus Yoga Teacher Training Diploma is one of the UK’s top teacher training courses\, known for its non-dogmatic and authentic approach. Now in its fourth year\, we are delighted to be offering this training in York starting in September 2020. \nThe course was introduced in 2003 and is registered with Yoga Alliance at the 200-hour teacher training level\, allowing graduates the benefit of an internationally recognised accreditation\, and with the Independent Yoga Network. Graduates are also entitled to join the Register of Exercise Professionals\, an organisation set up to regulate\, help safeguard and promote the health and interests of people who are using the services of exercise and fitness instructors\, teachers and trainers. \nThe 11 core weekend modules of the course cover the following areas in manageable portions designed to develop your knowledge and teaching skills progressively and systematically: \nAsana Principles and Creative Asana Teaching\nPractical Anatomy and Physiology\nClass Sequencing\nTeaching Skills and Techniques\nSubtle and Energetic Anatomy\nPranayama and Meditation\nThe History and Philosophy of Yoga\nThe core 11 modules will be supported with regular check-ins\, quizzes\, videos\, podcasts\, and reading materials as part of our unique Online Learning Platform.
