You’ll start slowly\, inviting kindness and mindfulness into your practice\, then build up heat as you move through plenty of sun salutes\, standing poses and floor postures. Like all our classes the foundation is mindful breathwork. Class finishes with deep relaxation. It’s suitable for those with experience of yoga and for people getting back into yoga with a good level of fitness. \n

DESCRIPTION:Five sessions: 3\, 10\, 17\, 24 & 31 March at 6.15 – 7.30pm \nTurn yourself upside down and all the bad thoughts will fall out of your head! Maybe not\, but inversions do hold benefits like improving upper body mobility and strength\, improving circulation and body awareness. \nWe’ll work methodically through drills\, postures and exercises to increase mobility\, stability and strength\, as well as using the wall to support our balance and alignment. Expect a fun\, supportive environment and lots of laughs. \nIf you’ve seen people practicing their inversions and wondered how on earth they got there – this is for you. If you’ve tried a handstand once or twice but want to really refine your alignment\, balance and body awareness – this is for you. The course is aimed at anyone who is comfortable in a mixed-level vinyasa yoga class and who can hold downward dog with straight arms for 10 breaths. \nLimited to 9 spots total\, early booking is recommended! \n£75 full price / £65 concessions \n

DESCRIPTION:Five sessions: 3\, 10\, 17\, 24 & 31 March at 7.45 – 9pm \nFront splits is not just a cool party trick – it’s also a great measure of amazing overall mobility in the lower body. Working on front splits means working on mobility and strength across the hamstrings\, glutes\, quadriceps\, psoas\, calves and more – perfect for runners\, cyclists\, or anyone who spends their days sat at a desk! \nGreat leg mobility is so beneficial in so many ways – personally\, once I learned how to properly stretch my hip flexors\, my lower back pain (a niggle I’d had for years) completely disappeared. Having strong active flexibility in the legs also makes lots of other postures (such as backbends and inversions) more accessible and comfortable. \nWe’ll work methodically through drills\, postures and exercises to increase mobility\, stability and strength. Expect a fun\, supportive environment and lots of laughs. \nIf you’re keen to improve your overall leg mobility and really deep-dive into how to access those stubborn muscles\, this course is for you.
