Getting Started

We might try yoga for many reasons: to cure a bad back, to manage stress, to heal a broken heart, to inspire our running, or simply because we’ve heard it’s good for us. With good teaching and regular practice yoga can fulfil all these promises and more, leading to physical health and emotional stability. We teach an intelligent, multi-dimensional body-based practice which improves strength and flexibility while boosting the endocrine and immune systems. It has a direct impact on our breathing and nervous system, stimulating the relaxation response and calming us down, leading to sustained psychological well-being.

Beginners Yoga   Drop-In Class

Open to All

This is a drop-in variation of our Beginners Yoga Level 1 course. The class is offered in a flow style of yoga, introducing mindfulness, postures, breathwork and relaxation. Our skilful teachers can help anybody regardless of age or stiffness find an enjoyable way to practice. If you have never done yoga before, this is a great class for you to try. 

Beginners Level 2 Drop-In Class

Open to All

This is a drop-in variation of our Beginners Yoga Level 2 course. This class is for those of you who have done our beginners course and want to explore postures, breathwork and mindfulness a little deeper, or for anyone who’s done yoga in the past, feels a bit rusty and wants to get back into it. The course is a great stepping stone into our Dynamic classes. Expect more alignment instructions, slightly more ‘strong’ stuff, perhaps some Yin Yoga and a wonderful restorative relaxation.

Beginners Yoga

Level 1

Open to All

We offer beginners yoga courses in a flow style of yoga, introducing mindfulness, postures, breathwork and relaxation. You’ll learn the basics of sun salutations and the standing and floor postures. Our skilful teachers can help anybody regardless of age, fitness or stiffness find an enjoyable way to practice. If you have never done yoga before, we recommend you attend a beginners yoga course, or try an Open to All class.
