Postnatal and Baby Yoga

“An oasis of positivity, empowerment and wonderful yoga for new mums. I cannot recommend the classes enough.”

Sophie Carr and Alison Goodwin have long been recognised as the leading exponents of pregnancy and postnatal yoga in Yorkshire. More than a yoga class, our postnatal classes are a unique blend of yoga and supportive space for you and your baby.  Our yoga practice is gentle: soft movement to release tightness and tension, ease aches and pains and tone your tummy and pelvic floor. Breathing, meditation and relaxation help you feel rested and refreshed, even if you didn’t get much sleep last night.  There’s time for discussion, sharing experiences and tips, and bucketloads of reassurance. We support and encourage you to trust your own instinct about what is right for you and your baby. And we make you a hot cup of tea with biscuits!

"Throughout the first months of being a mama, the weekly yoga sessions have been an oasis of positivity. More than just yoga, the sessions have informed me, empowered me and also led to me to some fantastic mum friends. Can I keep on having babies just to keep coming?!"

"I credit these sessions for helping me have the confidence to mother how I want to mother, which really is incredible."

"I have been through pregnancy and postnatal yoga with both my babies and been taught by both Sophie and Alison. I cannot recommend their classes enough. They are both wonderful and gorgeous natured ladies and they also provide some fabulous yoga to boot!"

"The pregnancy and post-natal yoga classes that Sophie and Alison provide have been completely invaluable to me on my mum journey so far."
