Franklin Method® in York Immersive: Discover your Dynamic and Balanced Pelvic Floor in Movement and in Breath

August 15 at 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm

£42.50

An immersive for Pilates teachers, Yoga teachers, dancers, and those who are simply curious about their body and movement. Become clearer in your movement, more powerful as well as calmer and at ease in you.

Join me for a deeply embodied, experiential morning of exploration through the Franklin Method – a practical, science-led somatic approach to improving movement, posture, and wellbeing through imagery, anatomy, biomechanics, and somatic awareness in movement and breath.

In my immersive workshop, you will explore:

Discover and balance your dynamic pelvic floor in movement and breath – explore its vital role in supporting the spine, posture, emotional wellbeing, and how movement, breathing, thoughts and imagery influence pelvic health, as well as how the pelvic floor links to other structures and connections in the body, such as the foot, lower back, diaphragm and jaw! This year’s immersive will really dig into that felt understanding of these differing connections in the body. So there is always more to learn.

This immersive is for you if:

You’re a Yoga or Pilates teacher wanting to deepen your understanding of anatomy from the inside out to help with your cuing in class and you are also looking for ways to develop your own personal embodiment. Or you are a dancer wanting to discover how your pelvic floorcan be such a huge help with important things like your plié, jumps and rebounds as well as safer landings from jumping. Or you are a lay mover and curious about your own body and learning about it in a felt way.

You’re curious about the true function of the pelvic floor in movement and breath – far beyond “engage your pelvic floor.” You want to learn how the floor works in a dynamic way rather than using tension strategies which can be the cause of pain and movement that looks and feels disjointed.

You want practical, science-informed ways to release tension and refine alignment through Franklin Method® principles of dynamic imagery.

You’re drawn to nervous system health, regulation, and breathwork as part of intelligent movement and want to discover how the pelvic floor fits into this jigsaw and how pelvic floor health is influenced directly by your breath. You value embodied, grounded exploration in a safe, supportive space.

You want to reconnect with your own vitality and help your clients move with greater ease, awareness, and freedom. Are you curious to breath, move, feel and embody your pelvic floor with curiosity to see how it can help you?

I’m thrilled to bring the transformative Franklin Method® experience back to the historical, medieval city of York where I had a wonderful time with you in November. Early booking is strongly advised – spaces are intentionally limited to maintain depth, connection, and personalised attention.

“Franklin Method has been a way of life for me now for over a decade and I work with it every day with my own clients. I also teach in Eric Franklin’s own Virtual Studio as a guest teacher. I work with Franklin Method in my role as a Comprehensive Pilates teacher and I’ve taught it across the world as a guest teacher for dancers. I also work with it in dance at my Centre for Advanced Training with my dancers too. So I have so much experience I want to share with Pilates teachers, Yoga teachers, dancers as well as those who are curious and just enjoy moving, because Franklin Method is about being and feeling optimal in your own body, and it makes you feel so good!”
