Mandala Vinyasa is a dynamic yoga asana practice, where you will move in 360 degrees around the mat. It has a deep meditative effect as you repeat the same circular sequence for 3 cycles. This class is a real treat – it’s wonderfully nourishing and restorative. It features postures and sequences both gentle and challenging, breathwork, meditation, sound (voice and instruments), deep relaxation and yoga philosophy. Gillian is a gifted teacher who has a particular interest in neuroplasticity – using yoga to help rewire the brain and soothe the nervous system. She also uses music and storytelling during relaxation as a therapeutic tool.

Our daytime class is a slow-paced, calm class open to all. Gentle stretches will improve posture and overall strength, and increase vitality. There will be attention to detail in the posture, making the session suitable for anyone in recovery from illness or injury, and a focus on deep breathing and relaxation means you will feel nourished and nurtured. Suitable for any age or experience – beginners welcome. The class is also good for the early stages of pregnancy.
