ACTIVE FLEXIBILITY with Dora Rubinstein

Active flexibility is a method of stretching where we use our strength through our full range of motion. This is a brilliant way to work into tighter, stubborn areas like the shoulders, upper back, hip flexors and quads. Using props such as the wall, chairs, blocks and belts we’ll work towards postures like urdva danurasana (wheel) and hanumanasana (front splits). The session will be stop-start with demonstrations, chances to discuss the exercises and hands-on adjustments if you would like them. You’ll get exercises to take away and practice at home – AKA homework from Dora whilst she’s away – too!
