Mandala Vinyasa is a dynamic yoga asana practice, where you will move in 360 degrees around the mat. It has a deep meditative effect as you repeat the same circular sequence for 3 cycles. There is a strong focus on breath awareness and each class will start with a pranayama (breath work) practice. The classes end with restorative/yin yoga before we move into savasana.
Each Mandala sequence is designed to target specific areas of the body corresponding to one of the elements – Earth, Water, Air and Fire. Focussing on one of the elements also gives the practice a specific focus and we bring the qualities of the element into the practice.
Mandala Vinyasa classes offer the perfect balance of warming movement and calming stillness – it is a magical practice that really leaves you feeling in a state of yoga bliss!
(These classes are in-studio only. Not suitable for complete beginners)
