dora rubinstein
Dora has been practicing yoga for all of her adult life, after originally being introduced to Iyengar yoga as a child! Teenage rebellion took her towards more dynamic styles including Ashtanga, Rocket, Jivamukti and Dharma Yoga, which all influence the vinyasa flow classes she now teaches. She aims to keep classes playful, yet alignment-focused, integrating ideas about how to bring yoga philosophy straightforwardly into our modern lives.
As an Acroyoga teacher Dora teaches internationally, most recently in Athens for Acroyoga International, and in London at the London Acro Convention. Her acroyoga classes are light-hearted and laid-back, with a focus on celebrating all the small achievements in every session as a community. Dora loves teaching people of all ages, from 3 to 93, and she’s really excited to be based in York and teaching the local community here.
